This referral service is offered as an alternative to “word of mouth” advertising. It is offered as a forum for residents to share their experiences with various service providers others may need or require. By submitting a source, you are essentially giving that provider the “good housekeeping seal of approval”. So be conscientious with respect to quality, timeliness and price when you provide your recommendations.
Keep in mind all service providers must respect HPHRA Rules and Regulations with respect to work-hours, parking, noise and other issues neighbors may find offensive.
You may provide up to a 200-character description of the service provider that you are recommending. For example, if you have a good electrician, plumber or car mechanic that you would like to endorse, someone you used previously, and was reliable and reasonably priced, prepare a short description to include the service provider’s contact information (phone number and email address) as HPHRA will not get involved in connecting residents and potential service providers.
Provide some pricing information if you can. For example, hourly rates per day plus materials etc. You can provide one photographic image if you desire.
Notify HPHRA immediately if the service provider no longer is available. All referrals are automatically deleted after 90 days unless you explicitly notify HPHRA to renew the listing for additional periods of time.
· HPHRA reserves the right to refuse any referral at our discretion if the ad is found to be offensive, is in bad taste or advertises illegal services. HPHRA neither endorses or vouch for the quality or reliability of the service provider. Feel free to contact the resident recommending the service provider for additional information.
